Our 2017 Mission
InAGlobe Education is a partnership building social enterprise. By facilitating partnerships between humanitarians and academics we seek to tackle the effects of scarcity and poverty in developing countries with technological innovation and in turn help educate engineering students about the most important global challenges.
In practice, we involve academic projects as a resource for humanitarian innovation, and by doing so engineering and science students become educated in tackling challenges from the developing world context. We believe that this will firstly breed a generation of engineers capable of tackling some of the most complex global issues and secondly, we activate a series of high-performing assets to deliver on tailored technologies for technologically ostracised areas.
Since the inception of InAGlobe we have understood that we had to create a narrative and discourse with which to associate our cause. There are many individuals, groups, companies, organisations with similar and complementary goals to our own, but we believe that on top of the work that we do we need to bring knowledge and awareness. Initially, this blog was made to tell the story from ideation, to iterations of products and services that told our entrepreneurial tale, however, we see this blog needing a metamorphosis, we want to repurpose it to inform and present ideas, methods, analyses and projects that are relevant thematics. This will allow you to better understand how we operate and why despite having great ambitions, we are absolutely invested and excited about the prospects of our work.
I hope you enjoy keeping up with the InAGlobe blog and if you are interested in our mission in any way, do not hesitate to contact us. We are very interested to hear about any potential collaborations, feedback, criticism, advice, opinions, etc.
